Our facility is spread across Plots 48 to 50 in the GIDC. We are right opposite the Nani Khodiar temple, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Gujrat Petrochem is a place where we handle a lot of drums and storage tanks. It’s heavy work, and the smell of oil and chemicals is pretty much everywhere. We spend a lot of time checking valves and making sure the pipes aren't leaking. It isn't the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in overalls most of the time. We have a few trucks that come in every morning to load up, and that’s usually the busiest part of the day. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we keep things moving. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighbors all know us. It’s a straightforward operation. We buy material, process it, and send it out. There isn't much more to it than that. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We'd rather spend it on keeping the pumps running well. It’s a lot of manual monitoring and physical labor. We have a small office where we handle the billing and the gate passes, but the real work happens out in the yard between the tanks. It’s just how we do things here. We just try to get the loads out on time.
