Tapax Machinery

We are located in Bhalvado Khancho, over in the Vadava Talavadi area. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting to us because of the narrow lanes, or khanchos, as we call them. Tapax Machinery is a small operation where we mostly focus on mechanical parts and small-scale assembly. The workshop is packed with old tools and parts we’ve collected over the years. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch where you step because there might be a gear or a belt on the floor. We spend our mornings looking over the machines that need repair or putting together new units for local buyers. The light in the shop isn't great, so we have a few bright lamps hanging over the workbenches. Vadava Talavadi is a lively neighborhood with plenty of small shops nearby, so we usually go out for snacks or a quick chat with the other owners. We don’t use any complicated software to run the business, just some notebooks and a basic calculator. When a customer comes in, we usually talk through what they need while standing around the main workbench. It’s a hands-on life and we’ve gotten used to the oil stains on our fingers. The work is steady and we like being part of this little corner of the town. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
