Sunil Machine Tools

We’ve been here at J/797 in the G.I.D.C area of Chitra for quite a long time now. Sunil Machine Tools is basically just a group of us working with metal and machines every day. The workshop gets pretty loud and dusty, but that is how it goes when you are dealing with this kind of equipment. Most people know us around Chitra because we have been in this same spot forever. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a shop floor with some old and new machines where we try to get the jobs done right. Sometimes the tea guy is late, and the heat in the G.I.D.C gets a bit much in the summer months. We handle the tools and the repairs as they come in. People drop by, ask if we can fix something or make a part, and we see what can be done. It is mostly practical work. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless we have to. Sunil Machine Tools is just our way of making a living in this industrial patch. If you walk past J/797, you’ll probably hear the grinding noise from the street. We keep the doors open for the breeze. It is just a straightforward place where work happens. No big speeches or complicated plans. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to it.
