Snowwhite Industries

We are over at Plot No. 06, which is the home of Snowwhite Industries. It’s a simple name for a simple place. We’ve been operating out of this plot for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building itself isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain gate and some brickwork, but it’s what we need. Inside, we have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the flow of work. It’s not a high-tech facility with sensors and computer screens everywhere. Instead, it’s more about manual levers and knowing the sound the machine makes when it’s running right. We spend a lot of our time just maintaining the tools and making sure the floor is clear enough to move the finished goods. There are only a few of us here, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We have a small table in the corner where we sit for lunch, usually talking about things other than work. The day starts early when the air is still a bit cool and we try to get the heaviest stuff done before noon. We don’t have a big mission statement or any corporate slogans on the walls. We just come in, do what needs to be done at Plot No. 06, and go home to our families. It’s the kind of place where you learn by doing.
