Shreeji Plastotech

If you go down to G.I.D.C. Chitra, you will find us at Plot No.256/6A. It is quite a drive from the main city area. Shreeji Plastotech is mostly about the machines and the plastic. It gets very hot in the shed during the summer months. We have big fans, but they just move the warm air around. Still, the work does not stop. We have piles of raw material sitting in the corner and finished parts on the other side. My brother and I run the daily operations. We hire local guys from the nearby villages. They are hard workers who do not complain much about the heat. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them. It’s frustrating but that is part of the job. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who know us or other businesses in the industrial estate. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the late shifts. The road outside is full of trucks and dust. You can hear the sounds of other factories all day long. It is a busy place to be. We are just trying to make a living like everyone else in Chitra. We stay focused on the work at hand and do not worry about much else. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
