Shanti Foods India is located within the Bhagyalaxmi Industrial Estate on Bhavnagar Road. We are right next to Mahesh Timber Mart, so the sound of wood being cut is a constant background noise for us. It’s an industrial area, so there’s a lot of concrete, metal roofs, and big vehicles moving around. Our facility is basically a large workspace where we handle the production and packaging of our food products. It can get quite hot inside during the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or plush carpets; it’s just a place where work happens. Most of the people here live in the nearby outskirts and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We handle everything from unloading the raw materials to loading up the finished goods for delivery. There’s no corporate fluff here, just a focus on making sure the machines are running and the orders are filled on time. We often have our lunch together in a small shaded area outside when the weather allows for it. Dealing with the dust and the noise is just part of the daily routine. We take pride in just putting in a good day’s work and getting home to our families. It’s a simple setup on a busy road, and it’s been working for us for quite a while now. By the time we lock up, the industrial estate is finally getting quiet.
