Our office sits right in Haluriya Chowk, over in the Bharne Vorawad area of Bhavnagar. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always noise from the street coming inside. We help people who are looking to go on a trip out at sea. Most of the time, folks come in with a lot of questions about what it’s like on a big ship because they’ve never been on one before. We have some brochures and a couple of desks where we sit and talk through the options. It isn't a fancy travel agency with bright lights. It’s more of a local spot where you can sit down and have a glass of water while we look at the dates. The address is 364001, right in the heart of the town. Gujarat is a big place, but people in this neighborhood mostly know where we are. We handle the bookings and the boring paperwork that no one likes to do. Sometimes the computer system is slow, and we just end up chatting about the weather or local news. We don’t try to sell anyone on things they don’t need. We just show what’s available for the cruises and let them decide. It’s a steady job and we like seeing people get excited about their holidays. It’s just us here at the chowk every day, making sure everyone gets their tickets and knows where to go.
