Ambience (The Fern Hotel & Resorts)

We’ve been running Ambience here inside The Fern for a while now. If you know Bhavnagar, you know we’re right by Kaliabhid, not far from Jewel Circle. It’s a busy spot but once you get inside, things slow down a bit. We get a lot of travelers staying at the hotel, but plenty of local folks from around the neighborhood drop in too. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure there’s enough room for everyone to sit comfortably. It isn’t fancy talk here, just a regular place where you can get a meal without a fuss. Some days are busier than others, especially on weekends when families come out. The staff has been here for a good bit, so they know how things work. We don't really do big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, set the tables, and wait for people to show up. It’s right there on the Kaliabhid road, easy to find if you’re heading towards the circle. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but it’s quiet enough once you’re through the doors. We keep the lights a certain way and just try to make it feel okay for a lunch or dinner. People usually come for a break from their day. We like seeing the same faces. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day in Bhavnagar. We don't think about it too much, we just do the work that needs doing. When the sun goes down, the lights come on and we get ready for the evening crowd. It is what it is.
