5 Diamond Flavours

Our place, 5 Diamond Flavours, is at number 15 in Doctor House, right at Sant Kanvarram Chowk. It’s an interesting spot to work in because of the location. Doctor House is a well-known building, and being at the chowk means there is always something going on outside. The most noticeable thing about working here is the smell. Since we deal with flavours, the office often has these faint scents of vanilla, fruit, or spices floating around, depending on what we are looking at that day. It’s a lot better than the smell of exhaust from the street. The office itself is quite practical. We have shelves lined with small bottles and samples, and a lot of paperwork to keep track of everything. We aren't a massive corporation with floors of people; we are a smaller team that knows each other well. Most days involve checking samples, talking to people on the phone, and making sure the deliveries are ready to go out. The chowk can get very noisy with all the horns and the people, but inside the office, we just focus on the flavor profiles and the orders. We don't have a lot of "modern" office furniture, just the stuff that works and keeps us organized. It’s a steady kind of job, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the traffic and the specific smells of our work throughout the week.
