Shakti Pharmacy

You can find Shakti Pharmacy over in Mahadev Nagar Society, right across from Navyug High School. Being near a school means there are always kids running around outside and plenty of noise during the day. We’ve been here in Jambusar for quite some time now. Most of our customers are the people who live in the houses nearby and walk over. They come in for their regular medicine or maybe just a bandage for a scrape. We keep the shop pretty simple. There are no fancy displays or bright lights here. Just shelves full of what people actually need. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic and we have to wait around. It can be frustrating but that’s just how things go. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours in the evening when everyone finishes work. We talk to the neighbors about the weather or local news while we work at the counter. It makes the long day go by faster. The shop gets a bit hot in the summer because the sun hits the front window directly. We just put a fan on and keep going. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local pharmacy in a quiet neighborhood. It's good to be part of the community here. People know they can drop in and we will help them out with their prescriptions. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
