Sun Farben Incorporation

Sun Farben Incorporation is located at Plot No. Ch-11, which is just a short walk from the fire station in the GIDC. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the fire station is. Our building is a bit worn down, but it’s sturdy. We work with colors and pigments every single day. If you look at our hands, you can usually tell what color we were making that morning. We don't have a professional cleaning crew. We just sweep up at the end of the day and start over again tomorrow. It’s a small operation. We have a few guys who handle the mixing and a couple more who deal with the packaging. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s not a high-stress corporate environment. We just do our best to get the shades right for our customers. We don't have a mission statement or any fancy goals. We just want to keep the shop running and pay the bills on time. If you stop by, don't expect a guided tour. You’ll just see us working around the vats and the drying racks. We are just local people making color for those who need it. It’s straightforward work and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
