You can find us in Bharatpur, right in the Masjid Para area. Bharatpur Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is the name we use, and Kohinur Bibi’s place is where we mostly get together. Zasimaddin is there too, usually helping with the chores. If you know the village in Murshidabad, you probably know where the Masjid Para is. It’s a tight community. We started this because we wanted a way to handle our agro work together. It’s not a big corporation or anything like that. Just some local folks from the village and the post office area. We spend most of our time dealing with the fields and the crops. Sometimes we sit around and figure out the transport or who needs what for the next season. It gets really hot here, but the work doesn't stop. We don’t have fancy chairs or a big sign outside. Most people just know where to find us by asking around the neighborhood. It’s basic, honest work. We try to keep our records straight and help each other out when the prices for seeds go up or down. Usually, there's tea being made and someone talking about the rain.
