Out here in Baligaon, life moves at its own pace. Dhanya Mana Fly Ash Bricks Factory is located near the Chandbali Bazar, not too far from the Nuabazar area. It is a busy part of the district, especially on market days when everyone is out on the roads. Our factory isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we work hard every day. We handle fly ash bricks, so there is always a layer of light dust on everything, including our clothes. The staff here mostly comes from around Baligaon or the nearby villages. We know each other well and we just get on with the tasks. It gets really hot during the summer months, and that makes the work a lot tougher, but we manage. We spend a lot of time watching the weather because rain can really mess up the drying process. Sometimes we sit outside near the entrance during our lunch break and watch the people going to Chandbali Bazar. It's a simple operation. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. We just have the factory and the bricks we make. If you are in the area, you will see the stacks of grey bricks sitting out in the sun. It's dusty work but we have been doing it for years now and we're used to it.
