Down in Berhampur, specifically in the Gundicha Nagar area of Gosaninuagam, you’ll find Utkal Technology Solutions. We’ve been working out of this part of Ganjam for a good bit now. It’s a lively neighborhood and there’s always something happening on the street. Our workspace is pretty simple. We mostly focus on fixing things and helping people get their tech working. It’s not a glamorous job, but there’s always a demand for it. We have a lot of regular folks from around the area who stop by when their gadgets start acting up. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to confuse anyone. If something is broken, we tell you, and then we try to fix it. Sometimes it takes a few days if we need parts from out of town. We’ve got a couple of workbenches and a lot of tools scattered about. The heat in Ganjam can be something else in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. We grew up around here, so we know most of the families in the block. It feels more like a community workshop than a strictly corporate office. We just open up in the morning, check our messages, and get to work on whatever is on the bench. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. No big speeches, just getting the job done.
