You will find us down at Kamakshipalya, right on Magadi Main Road. Our workshop is in a bit of a maze, specifically at Sy No 65/2 in the Iv Cross of Kaveripura. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. We have been here at B No L-2 for a good stretch. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease stains or metal shavings scattered around near the machines. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. Engineering isn't always about clean drawings on a screen; it’s about making things work in the real world. We usually start the morning by checking the machines and seeing what parts need to be fabricated or fixed. The air is often thick with the smell of oil and coolant. We have a small area for paperwork, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. When the weather gets hot, the metal roof makes it even warmer inside, so we keep the fans running constantly. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often brought from home in steel tiffins. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. It’s just how we operate here in this corner of the city, focusing on the job at hand.
