You can find Zak Engineering Work over on Horamavu Road in the Banaswadi area. The address is No.232/1. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The shop isn't huge but we make the most of the space we have. Engineering is what we know, so there’s always bits of metal and various tools scattered around the floor. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially on Tuesdays when we have more deliveries than usual, but we know where everything is. The noise from the traffic outside mixes with the sound of our drills and grinders. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone ringing when everything is running at once. We get people from around the neighborhood dropping by for small fixes or just to see how a project is coming along. It’s a local feel here. We know the tea seller nearby and most of the other shop owners on this block. The weather can make it tough when it rains heavy because the water sometimes pools near the entrance, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We don't have any flashy signs or fancy lights. It’s just Zak Engineering Work, a place where we put in the hours and try to stay busy. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and making sure the jobs get finished eventually. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the tools sharp.
