Yes

Over at 39/9 Bazar Street, you will find our business, which is simply called Yes. This is in the Apaline area of Neelasandra in Bangalore, and the pin code is 560047. Bazar Street is never really quiet. There is always someone shouting or a truck trying to squeeze through the narrow parts of the road. We have a small space here that is not much to look at from the sidewalk. The building has seen better days, but the roof doesn’t leak and the doors lock tight at night. Inside, we just have our basic setup for the day. We try to come in early before the traffic gets really bad across Bangalore. Neelasandra is a crowded part of town but it has everything you need close by. There is a tea shop just a few doors down from 39/9 where we go when we need a break from the work. Choosing the name Yes was just because it is short and easy for people to remember. We don’t do much talking about ourselves. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait in the dark for a bit, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. When the shutters roll up in the morning, we nod to the other shopkeepers around Bazar Street. It is a very ordinary place and we like it that way. We don’t use any big computers or fancy systems. Just pen and paper and hard work. We are here every day.
