Skanda Tours And Travels is located at 53, 1st Main Road in Kamalanagar. Our office is where all the planning happens, but most of the work goes on outside on the road. We have a few cars and a small group of drivers who have been with us for a long time. You will usually see some of our vehicles parked out front or the drivers sitting around chatting while they wait for their next trip. We have been running this business for a few years now, and every day is different. We start very early, often before dawn, to make sure the first pick-ups are handled on time. It is a lot of work to manage the schedules and keep track of where everyone is, especially with the way traffic is in this part of town. We handle local drops and some longer trips for families going out of the city. The office itself is just a basic room with a logbook and a few chairs. We don't spend money on big ads; we just rely on people in the Kamalanagar area knowing we are here and reliable. Sometimes things go wrong, like a flat tire or a blocked road, and we have to scramble to fix it. It is a simple business of moving people around, and we just try to keep the cars running and the schedules on track. It is hard work but it keeps us going.
