We are located at No. 30/2 A in K. Thirumalappa Nagar, which is part of the Attur 2nd Stage area in Yelahanka. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you are coming from the center of town, but we like the space we have. Alpha Base Technologies is a private company, but our office feels more like a workshop than anything else. There are wires running along the floors and whiteboards covered in scribbles that only we can understand. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly focus on the technical development of the projects we have on hand. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits; we usually just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of sitting at a desk. Yelahanka has a different feel than the rest of the city, maybe a bit more relaxed, though our work can get pretty stressful when things aren't working right. We have a small kitchen area where we make way too much tea and coffee to keep ourselves going. Sometimes we stay quite late when we are in the middle of a big project. The building is simple and functional, which suits us just fine. We don't spend time on making things look pretty for visitors; we just focus on the hardware and the code and getting things finished on time. It's a lot of hard work but we enjoy the challenge.
