Yashu Travels

Betappa Road in Salabatpura is where we keep the office for Yashu Travels. It is at number 2. The street gets very narrow during the market hours in the morning. We spend a lot of our time on the phone. People want to go into the city or maybe further out for a family wedding. We have to check which driver is free and not stuck in traffic. It is a lot of juggling schedules every single day. My brother handles the morning shift while I take over in the afternoon. We have a small fan in the corner that makes a lot of noise. It helps with the heat though. The neighbors at the tea stall always bring over a couple of hot cups around four o'clock. We talk about the petrol prices mostly. It is a tough business sometimes. You have to keep the vehicles in good shape. Otherwise, they just break down when you are halfway to where you are going. We do not have a website or anything like that. Just the phone and people walking in because they saw the name on the door. It has been this way for a few years now. Salabatpura is a good spot for us. People around here know us by name. We just try to stay busy and keep the cars running. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we get it done.
