Yao Sam Technology Private Limited

Our place is on the second floor of a building in Kalyani Nagar, specifically at No 7. It’s on the 5th Cross and 1st Main in Bikasipura. It is a typical Bangalore neighborhood where everyone is kind of living and working on top of each other. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the sounds of the street below. There is a lot of back and forth with the local shops nearby. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rows of desks and a lot of wires running along the floor. We never really got around to hiding them properly. It’s not the kind of place where we host big events. It’s just where we sit to get our tasks finished. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise for the day just by coming to work. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small nameplate so people know they are in the right spot. Most days are just spent working through spreadsheets or checking on software updates. We take turns bringing in snacks for the afternoon. It’s a small team, so we all know what’s going on in each other’s lives. It feels more like a small family than a corporate office. We just do our work and go home. Usually, we are out by six unless something goes wrong.
