Sai India Ltd. is located over in the Doddanekkundi Industrial Area, specifically at 26 - C in Phase I. If you’re familiar with Bangalore, you know that Mahadevapura Post is a hub for a lot of manufacturing and industrial work. Our site is part of that big landscape. It’s an industrial shed style building, which is necessary for the kind of work we do here. The yard usually has some trucks parked or materials being moved around. It gets pretty dusty and loud during the day with all the machinery running. We aren't tucked away in a fancy tech park; we’re right in the thick of the industrial zone. Most of the staff comes in early to beat the Bangalore traffic, though that’s getting harder to do these days. We spend our time on the floor or in the small office space at the front. The furniture is practical, and the walls are decorated with old calendars and safety charts. It’s a place of work, plain and simple. We’ve been operating out of this Karnataka location for years, and we’ve seen the area change a lot around us. Despite all the new buildings going up nearby, our corner of Doddanekkundi stays pretty much the same. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the machines maintained. It is a long day but the work is steady.
