Thesis Code

Our place is on the 3rd floor at 318, right on 10th Main Road in Jayanagar. It’s a pretty good area in Bangalore, though the 27th Cross intersection can get really backed up with traffic in the evenings. We do a lot of work with students and people trying to finish their research papers. Most of what we do involves looking at code and trying to make sense of it for whatever project is being worked on. Thesis Code isn't a huge office. It’s just a couple of rooms with desks and plenty of power strips for all the laptops. The 3rd floor view is mostly just the tops of other buildings and some trees along the road. We spend a lot of time typing and staring at screens. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with books and printed papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. People come in with their laptops, sit down, and we go over the logic or the errors they are having. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have fancy uniforms or corporate rules. We just show up, drink some coffee, and get to work on the files. Jayanagar is a nice neighborhood to be in, and being at 318 makes it easy for people to find us once they get off the main road. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but it’s fine. We just focus on getting the code right.
