Yamuna Tours & Travels

Yamuna Tours & Travels has been sitting here at 34 Yeshwantpur for a good while now. We are tucked away near Shankar Lane on S V Patel Road. Most of the time, the office is pretty quiet because everyone is out on the road. We keep a few cars ready and the keys are always on the hook behind the desk. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the drivers show up when they are supposed to. Traffic in this part of town can be a real headache, so we spend a lot of time looking at watches and checking phones. We don't have those fancy apps or a big website that looks like a movie. It’s mostly just us taking calls and writing down names in a ledger. If someone needs a ride to the station or a trip out of town, they usually just walk in or give us a ring. We keep the cars as clean as we can, though the dust gets everywhere this time of year. There is always a pot of tea going in the corner if you have to wait for a driver to return. It’s not a glamorous job, driving people around all day and night, but it’s what we do. We know the shortcuts around Yeshwantpur better than most. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but we manage to get through it. We aren't a big corporation, just a local travel shop.
