Yallappa Kudapali

Yallappa Kudapali is based out of the Kurubarasanga Building on Sant Kabir Road. We are on the 2nd floor, which means a lot of stairs every single day. The building number is 323 in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a very busy part of the city to be in. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside our window. Sant Kabir Road is full of shops and people selling things on the pavement. The building itself is a bit old, but it holds up well enough. My name is Yallappa, and I’ve been running things here for a while. The 2nd floor gives a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just roofs and messy wires. We have some heavy tables and old chairs that have seen better days. The Kurubarasanga Building has other offices too, so there is a lot of foot traffic on the stairs. Gandhi Nagar is the kind of place where you can find anything if you look hard enough. I spend my mornings going through the mail and checking what needs to be done. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s mine and I like it. Some days the power goes out and we just wait it out with the windows open for a breeze. You get used to the rhythm of the city after a while. I don't see the point in making things sound better than they are. It’s just a workspace.
