Advocate Kalyan Krishna

Our office is located at 552 Byatarayanapura. We are on the first floor in the F Block. If you are standing near the Sahakar Nagar Club, you can see our building right across from it. It’s also quite close to Cauvery Public School, so in the mornings and afternoons, the street gets filled with school buses and parents. Advocate Kalyan Krishna is the name on the door. Inside, there are a lot of law books and stacks of files on every flat surface. It’s a typical lawyer's space, where things look a bit messy but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time reading through legal papers and preparing for court dates. The fans hum overhead all day. People come in with all sorts of legal troubles, and we listen to them and see what the law says. It is a lot of reading and writing. Sometimes we have to go out to the courts, so the office might be empty for a few hours. We share the floor with a couple of other small businesses. The stairs are a bit steep, but once you get up here, it’s relatively quiet compared to the noise from the school. We have a small bench for visitors to sit on. The work involves a lot of waiting for dates and paperwork to clear through the system. We just take it one case at a time and do the writing that needs to be done.
