Working As Purchase Engineer In Hal Bangalore

I work as a purchase engineer over at HAL in Bangalore. My job is basically to find the parts we need and make sure we get them for a fair price. It involves a lot of phone calls and emails to different vendors. I live at No:66/1 on the 2nd Main Road in Nagendra Garden. That’s in the Sriramapuram area of Bangalore. I’ve been with HAL for a while and it’s a steady place to be. Engineering is one thing, but the purchasing side is all about logistics and timing. If a part is late, the whole project can get stuck. I have to keep a lot of lists. My house in Nagendra Garden is in a bit of an older neighborhood. I like it there because it’s familiar. Sriramapuram is pretty busy and there’s always something going on in the streets. I usually head out early to beat the worst of the traffic, though in Bangalore that’s almost impossible. Work can be a bit repetitive with all the purchase orders and tracking numbers. I try to stay on top of it so my boss doesn't have to ask me twice. Some days I spend more time on the phone than at my desk. It’s a living, and it keeps me busy. When I get home, I just like to relax and maybe walk around the neighborhood a bit. It’s just a normal job and I'm happy enough to have the stability these days.
