Our office is out in Bommanahalli, located in the A M Buildings near the Raghuvanahalli Gate. It’s a bit away from the main city center, but it works for us. We spend our days writing code and working on software projects. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, and occasionally arguing about the best way to fix a bug. We don't have those fancy offices with bean bags or slides that you hear about in tech companies. It’s just a normal building with desks and computers and a small kitchen area where we make tea. The team is quite small, so we all know what everyone is working on. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, which is just part of working in this area, but we deal with it. We don’t use a lot of jargon when we talk to people; we just try to explain what the software does in plain English. It’s a steady pace of work. Some projects take weeks of slow progress, and others are finished quickly. We like the neighborhood even if the traffic on the main road can be pretty bad during rush hour. We’ve been here at the A M Buildings for some time now. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make software that works like it’s supposed to. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Usually, we're here until late evening trying to get everything just right before we head home.
