Our office is actually located inside the Sobha Daffodils Apartment complex. We are in Flat 2041. It’s in the Somasundara Playa area of HSR Layout, which is a pretty popular part of Bangalore. Working from an apartment is a bit different than being in a standard commercial building, but it suits our style. We’ve turned the flat into a fully functional workspace with all our computers and gear. It gives the whole place a bit of a lived-in, comfortable feel. We do our tech work from the living room and bedrooms that we’ve repurposed. HSR Layout is great because there are so many food options just a short walk away. We often head out together to grab a bite or some tea when we get stuck on a problem. The apartment complex has its own rules, so we have to be mindful of the neighbors and the security at the gate. It’s a safe and quiet environment for the most part. We don’t have a big corporate sign outside, so you really have to know which flat you’re looking for to find us. It’s a small, tight-knit team here at Wishlamp Technologies. We spend a lot of time collaborating and talking through different software issues. It’s not a formal place at all. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable and get to work. It’s a very straightforward way to run things without all the usual overhead.
