Out here in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, our office at D-584 is a pretty standard place. The Rajasthan heat can be a lot in the summer months, so our AC units are basically running all day long just to keep us from melting. We are right in the 302017 zip code area, which is a busy part of the city but our specific street isn't too loud. We’ve got Wipro Technologies on the paperwork, but to the people around here, we are just the folks working in the D-block building. The office has some old furniture that’s seen better days, but it serves the purpose. I like that there are a few decent kachori shops within walking distance for a quick snack when the afternoon slump hits. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria or anything like that. We just make do with what we have. Most of us commute by bike, so the parking area downstairs is usually packed by ten in the morning. Sometimes we have to shuffle the bikes around so someone can get out early. It’s a bit of a hassle but we’re used to it. The interior is mostly white walls and blue chairs. We don't really bother with much else in terms of decor. It’s just about getting the work done and heading home before the evening traffic gets too bad near the main market. We keep some extra water bottles in the corner for anyone who walks in feeling thirsty from the sun. It's simple but it's where we work.
