Our spot is right by the Silk Board junction in Bangalore, which most people know for the long traffic jams. It is a busy place to be, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Wipro Infotech has been operating from here for a good bit of time. We spend most of our days looking at screens and dealing with IT stuff that comes through the door. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a standard place where people come to work. Since we are so close to the BTM side, there are plenty of places to get tea or a quick snack when the afternoon slump hits. The noise from the flyover is pretty constant, a sort of background hum that you eventually stop noticing. We don't have a big reception area or flashy signs inside. It is mostly just rows of desks and some old chairs. Sometimes the power cuts out for a second before the backup kicks in, but we just keep going. It is a straightforward office. We handle whatever tech issues or projects are on the list for the day. Most of us live nearby or take the bus, though the commute can be a real pain if you time it wrong. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the hustle of the city right outside the window. We just keep the files sorted and the systems running as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it.
