Westend Watch Works

Westend Watch Works is on Sampige Road in Malleswaram. We are at number 135, near the 8th Cross. This part of Bangalore still feels like the old days, even though many new shops have opened nearby. We have been here for a long time. The building is a bit old and shows its age, but we like the character of it. We specialize in looking after watches. People bring us everything from old mechanical watches that need winding to the newer battery ones. Our workbench is where we spend most of the day. It has a bright lamp and all the tools we need to see the tiny parts. Sampige Road is always busy with people, especially in the mornings when everyone is out. We get a lot of people who are just walking to the market nearby and stop in. Our shop isn't very big, so it feels crowded if more than a couple of people are inside at the same time. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle watches. We keep things simple here. We don't have big ads or flashy signs on the street. Most people find us because they live in the area or their parents used to come here. It is a quiet kind of work in a very busy neighborhood. We just focus on the watches on the desk and try to do a good job.
