Our office is located at No:407 on the 4th floor of Devatha Plaza. It’s right on Residency Road, so it’s a pretty central spot to be in. Since we are a division of Wendt (India) Ltd., there’s always something happening, even if our specific floor feels a bit more secluded than the street level. The elevator in Devatha Plaza can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so some of us just take the stairs if we aren’t feeling too tired. Inside Wendtsoft, it’s mostly computers and people looking at screens. We have a few windows that look out over the city, which is nice when you need a break from the monitor. The space is set up with basic cubicles and a small area where we keep the kettle for coffee. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s where we get our work done. We spend most of our hours writing code or fixing things that aren’t working right. The atmosphere is usually quiet, except for the tapping of keyboards. Sometimes we stay late when a project is finishing up, and the building gets really still then. Being on Residency Road means there are plenty of places to grab a bite nearby, which is helpful. We’ve been in this office for a while, and it feels like a second home to most of us who work here daily, just trying to keep the software running well.
