Warrantied Computer

Warrantied Computer is located at Nagpur Chawl 43 in Bangalore City. It’s a small space, and we’ve packed it with as much as we can. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with old monitors, power cables, and stacks of laptops waiting to be looked at. The air usually smells a bit like dust and warm electronics. We don't have much room for people to sit, so customers usually just stand by the counter while we talk about what’s wrong with their machines. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in and out. The chawl itself is quite lively, so there’s always noise coming from the neighbors or the street outside. We work on a small wooden desk that’s been scratched up over the years from all the tools and metal cases. Sometimes we stay late when a particularly tricky repair comes in, and the light from our desk lamps is the only thing on in the shop. We don’t have a big sign or any bright lights; people just find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It’s a very basic setup where the focus is entirely on the work in front of us. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but some days the sheer volume of work makes it tough. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small shop in a busy part of Bangalore.
