Vtec Computers

Vtec Computers is up on the second floor at 41275 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are on Samuel Street, right opposite the Coral Tree Hotel. Being on the second floor means it's a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate on a tricky circuit board. We do a lot of computer work here. It ranges from fixing hardware to helping people with their software issues. The office is mostly desks covered in tools and spare parts. We have a lot of plastic bins full of screws and connectors. RT Nagar is a lively spot, and Samuel Street gets quite a bit of foot traffic. We aren't a big retail outlet with bright lights. It’s more of a service center vibe. We spend a lot of our time staring at screens or poking around inside a CPU cabinet. People usually find us through word of mouth. We don't do much advertising. We just try to fix things properly the first time. Sometimes we stay late when a job is tougher than we thought. It’s just the two or three of us working here. We have a small area for customers to sit while they wait, but mostly it's just a workspace. It's a simple operation, nothing too corporate. We just like fixing computers and being part of the local community.
