V.R.L. Travels

If you head down to No.22/5 on Bowring Hospital Road in Shivaji Nagar, you will find our small office. We are very close to the main bus stand here, which is handy because that’s where most of the travel action is in this neighborhood. This part of Bangalore is always crowded and noisy, but that’s just how life is. Our office is a simple place where we handle all the travel stuff. People come in from the bus stand looking for tickets or asking about routes to other cities. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us. It’s a busy street with lots of people walking by all the time. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other over the horns and the shouting outside. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us answering the phones and writing down names in our books. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it gets the job done. We have a few benches where people can wait if there is a line for tickets. We try to stay on top of the schedules, but things change sometimes and we have to explain that to the folks who come in. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. If you are coming from the hospital side, we are just a short walk away. We keep the doors open to let some air in. It’s just a normal day for us here. We've been doing this for years now.
