Our branch is located at H No 759 in the G Block of S M Krishnanagar, over in Old Hubli. This part of Karnataka has a very specific feel to it, and our office fits right in with the surroundings. It is a busy place because we deal with a lot of transport and moving goods. There are always trucks idling nearby and the smell of diesel is pretty much a constant. The office itself is quite basic, with some metal cupboards for files and a few heavy-duty chairs that have seen a lot of use. We spend our time tracking shipments and talking to drivers who are coming in from long trips across the state. It is a loud environment with people shouting over the noise of the engines and the phones ringing constantly. We have a big map of the region on the wall with various routes marked out in marker. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in and we have to wipe down the desks a few times a day. We don't have fancy decorations or a lobby for visitors. If someone comes by, they usually just stand at the counter and we talk over the noise. It is a hardworking atmosphere where the main focus is just getting the cargo loaded and out on the road on time. That is pretty much life here in Old Hubli for us. We drink a lot of strong coffee to keep going.
