Our place, Vrindavan Shelters Pvt Ltd, is over at 304 in Vidyaranyapura. It’s a decent area, mostly residential and quiet compared to the main city center. We spend most of our time here looking at floor plans and talking to contractors on the phone. The office is on the third floor, so we get a bit of exercise coming up and down the stairs every day. Sometimes the lift acts up, so the stairs are a safer bet anyway. We’ve got a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corner and samples of tiles sitting around. It gets a bit messy when we have several projects going at once. In the rainy season, the trees outside get really green, which is nice to look at from the window. We try to keep things simple here. No big fancy meetings or anything like that. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting around a table trying to figure out schedules. We’ve been in this building for a bit now, and the neighbors know us. Sometimes we go downstairs to the small shop nearby to get snacks in the afternoon. People come by to ask about housing and we just tell them what we know. It’s steady work. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our bit with the buildings we handle. It's just a regular office life for us in Vidyaranyapura, keeping track of things and making sure we get the paperwork done right.
