Our shop is at Number 219 on Janjikar Street, right next to A.R. Street. It’s a narrow part of the city, and things can get pretty crowded outside on the sidewalk. We’ve got clothes and accessories filling up most of the racks. We aren't a big department store, just a regular shop on a busy street. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, but with people coming in and out all day, it's hard to keep it perfect. We spend a lot of time folding things back up after someone has looked through them. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, giving it an older feel. We have a small mirror in the back for people to use when they try things on. It’s just two or three of us working here. We know the other shopkeepers on the block, so we often chat across the doorways when it’s slow. The street noise is part of our daily life—shouting vendors and bikes weaving through the crowds. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by and seeing what we have in the window. It’s a simple way to run a business. We show up, open the doors, and wait for the day to start. It’s a bit of a tight fit inside, but we make it work with what we have here on Janjikar Street.
