Designer Fabs

Our shop is tucked away on H.M. Road in Lingarajapuram, right across from Sobha Textiles. If you’re familiar with the area near Grafs Lifestyle, you’ve probably walked past our door at some point. We spend most of our days here working on fabrics and designs. It’s a busy little spot, and there’s usually a pile of scraps on the floor and the sound of machines going in the back. We don’t have a big fancy showroom, just a space where the work gets done. People stop by with ideas or just to see what we have on the tables. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, which slows us down, but we find a way to finish. It’s just me and a few others helping out. We’ve been in this part of Lingarajapuram for a bit now, so we know the neighbors pretty well. It gets a bit crowded on the street outside with all the traffic, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t do much advertising; mostly people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. We keep things simple and try to get the sewing right. Every day is a bit different depending on what someone wants us to make. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. We're just trying to keep the machines running.
