Teekay Grand

Teekay Grand is located on the first floor of number 12, 1st Cross, 1st Main in Gundappa Layout. We are right off Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore 560083. Being on the first floor means we are up away from the street level, but the noise of Bangalore still reaches us. It is a busy part of the city with lots of traffic and people always in a rush. Our place is not a huge hotel. It is a small setup where we manage everything ourselves. We don't have any big corporate policies or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get the work done. A lot of our day is spent checking the guest rooms and making sure the water heaters are working properly. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them ourselves or call a local guy to come help. We don't have a big polished reception area. It is just a desk with a ledger and a telephone. Most people who stay here are just looking for a simple place that is close to the main road. We know the area well and can tell you where the best tea is. We don't have a big mission or any of that. We just want to keep the place running and make sure people have a place to sleep. It is a humble business and we like it that way. No big speeches or advertisements.
