Our office is right on the ground floor over in Ashwath Nagar, which is part of the Marathahalli area. We are at number 22 on the 1st Cross. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to deal with elevators, and it’s easy for people to just walk in off the street. Marathahalli is a pretty hectic part of Bangalore, especially with the bridge and all the traffic, but our little corner on 1st Cross is slightly tucked away from the worst of the noise. The office isn't very large. It’s mostly taken up by desks and some shelving where we keep all our project documents. We’ve got a small area in the back for making coffee and taking a quick break. The light isn't great during the rainy season, but on sunny days, it’s quite bright in here. We spend our days coordinating with contractors or checking on different sites. It’s a lot of logistical work, so the atmosphere is usually quite focused. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day—scooters buzzing by and people talking on their way to the main road. We’ve lived with the dust and the construction sounds around here for a while, so it’s just part of the backdrop now. It’s a basic, honest workspace where we get our daily tasks done without any extra glitter. We’re just here doing the work and seeing what the next day brings us.
