Our place is in the Chinmayee Arcade over in RBI Layout. If you know Bangalore South, you know the traffic around here can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, but once you get inside, it’s not too bad. We occupy space 883/887 on 10th A Cross. It’s a decent area with plenty of small eateries around, which helps because none of us are particularly good at packing a lunch every single day. The office itself is pretty straightforward. No marble floors or receptionists greeting you at the door. You just walk in and see us working. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are mostly filled with old paperwork and empty folders we keep meaning to organize. The arcade has a bit of a hum to it, people coming and going for different things. It keeps things from feeling too lonely. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we all just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in, which gives us a chance to actually talk instead of typing away. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and it feels like home. It’s not flashy, and the chairs could probably use some more padding, but it gets the job done. We like being in this part of town because it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. It’s just how we like to run things.
