Vision Lab

Narayangaon is a good place to be, and our lab at JP Nagar, specifically at 44/5, is right where we need it. It’s a bit of a trek for some, being "At Post," but it’s a solid location. The building is simple, painted a light color that’s faded over the years. Inside Vision Lab, things are kept as tidy as possible, which is hard when you have so many glass jars and instruments. We spend our days looking through lenses or mixing things for tests. It isn’t like those high-tech labs you see in movies with blue lights everywhere. It’s more practical. We have some sturdy benches and a few stools that wobble if you don’t sit on them just right. The air usually smells a bit like chemicals or cleaning fluid, which I’ve grown to like over time. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the village and the occasional tractor going by. We get a lot of locals coming in for various reasons, and we know most of them by name. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know how to run the equipment. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or a fancy lobby. We just have our workspace and the address at 44/5 where we show up every morning to get the results people are looking for. It’s quiet and steady work.
