I am located at 4708 in the High Point Building. It is on the 7th floor. The building is on Palace Road near Morland Road. It is a tall place and getting an elevator can take a few minutes during the morning rush. My office is not very big. It has a desk, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of files. I have been working from this spot for quite some time now. People come to see me for various professional matters. It is a quiet place once you get inside and close the door. The noise from the street below doesn't reach up here as much. I don't have a big staff. It is mostly just me handling the paperwork and meeting with people. I keep a kettle in the corner for tea. It helps when the days get long. The view from the window is mostly of other buildings and the tops of some trees. Palace Road is a well-known area, so most people don't have trouble finding the building. I try to keep my schedule organized but sometimes things run late. That is the nature of this work. I prefer meeting people in person rather than just over the phone. It feels more direct that way. I am usually here from Monday to Friday. It is a steady routine that I have grown to appreciate over the years. No big corporate banners here, just a name on the door and a stack of folders.
