Vijayananda Travels

We have been running Vijayananda Travels from our spot at 10 Gandhi Nagar Kalidasa Marg for quite a while now. Most days start early here because people are always trying to get somewhere on time. It is a busy street, but we managed to find a good place for our operations. People usually just drop in to ask about timings or to book a seat for their next trip. We deal with a lot of different routes, mostly focusing on getting folks from one city to another without too much fuss. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and the logs we keep for the trips. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic outside on Kalidasa Marg. We try to keep the buses moving as scheduled because that is what people expect when they come to Gandhi Nagar. Over the years, we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we are still right here at number 10. It is just a regular transport business run by people who know the roads. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the drivers are ready to go. There is always something to do, whether it is paperwork or talking to a traveler who is a bit lost. We just keep things moving every day. It is hard work but it is what we do here in this part of town and we like it.
