Vijayanand Printers Ltd - The Times Group

We’re based in Inderpuri, over on the first floor of the EA-20 building. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and there’s always a lot of movement outside our windows. Vijayanand Printers Ltd is part of The Times Group, but here in this office, it feels like a smaller community. We spend our days dealing with printing schedules and layout details. It’s a lot of coordinating between different departments. The air always smells a bit like ink and paper, which we’ve all grown to like. It’s not a shiny, modern glass building. It’s a place where real work happens. We have old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t really do big marketing speeches about ourselves. We’re just the people who make sure the printing gets done on time. It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, especially when there are big deadlines, but we’ve got a good rhythm down. Most of us have been here for years. We know the local tea stall owner and the guys at the courier shop. It’s a neighborhood business at heart. Even though we’re part of a bigger name, we focus on the daily tasks right in front of us. It’s practical, sometimes a bit messy, but it’s what we do every single day without fail. The floor can be a bit creaky but it doesn't bother us much anymore.
