My spot is at 1650 Rajajinagar, on Akruli Road in Patankar Wadi. It’s right near the Ragavendra Temple, so you can always hear the bells in the morning. I’ve lived and worked in this area for many years. It’s a busy corner of Rajajinagar. The street is narrow and there are always scooters parked everywhere. My space is small but it serves me well. I usually start my day with a visit to the temple and then I get to work. People know me around here as Vijaya Kumar. I don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. My door is usually open for anyone who needs help. It’s a very local way of doing things. I spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the people who come in. Sometimes we just talk about the weather or the price of things. The work itself is steady. I don't rush through things. I like to take my time and make sure everything is sorted out. The evenings are the busiest when everyone is coming home. It can get quite loud with all the traffic on Akruli Road, but I don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. I’m happy staying right here near the temple. It’s a good spot and I’ve got everything I need within walking distance. I’ve been here for decades and plan to stay as long as I can.
