Vijaya Durga Solars

We’ve been here on Palace Road for a good while now. Vijaya Durga Solars is basically just us working with solar panels and heaters every day. It gets pretty hot out there during the installations, but that’s how it goes. We started small, just a few of us trying to figure out how to help people around here get their water heated without using so much electricity. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep our tools and the stock that comes in. Some days are really busy with people walking in and asking questions about how the whole solar thing works. We try to explain it simply without all the technical jargon that usually confuses everyone. Palace Road has changed quite a bit since we first set up, with more traffic and new buildings popping up nearby. Most of our morning starts with a cup of tea and checking the schedule to see which roof we’re climbing onto today. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We’ve met a lot of the neighbors over the years and they know where to find us if something isn't working right. It’s just the way we do things here, keeping it local and making sure the jobs get finished even when the weather doesn't want to cooperate with us. It’s not always easy, but we enjoy being part of the street and seeing the sun come out every morning.
