Our place, Venturesofttech, is located at number 5 on the 2nd floor of D Street. This is in Jaya Raj Nagar, specifically the Hulsuru part of Bangalore. It’s a bit of an older building, so the stairs can be a little steep if you aren't used to them. We’ve been here for a while and the area has changed quite a bit. Hulsuru is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our office isn't very large, but we make it work. It’s basically one main room where we all sit and a smaller side room for files and things. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, mostly just calendars and some notes pinned up. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all the time. Sometimes the noise from D Street comes through the windows, especially when the trucks are passing by. We do a lot of software-related work here. It’s a lot of sitting in front of monitors and typing. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, so we just go down to the local shop when we need a break. It’s a straightforward environment. We focus on getting the tasks done. There’s no corporate lounge or anything like that. Just a bunch of us working in Jaya Raj Nagar. It’s a practical location for us and it keeps our overheads low, which is how we like to run things day to day.
